After 4 month every Oilwell stopps producing oil. After 2-4 weeks your explorers will find new oil and you can produce oil again. If it is not your Homefield and all fields have stopped producing oil you can give up the oilwell and change it to a new one. But be carefull. You need to transfer Money, sell Equipment etc first! Before you Give up the Oilwell because otherwise you will loose everything once you give up your Oilwell. You will loose aproximately 1 billion by changing an oilfild therefore you should not do it unless it is absolutly necessary.
